We only take chandeliers from ArtCrystal, they take care of everything for us, says Lucie Votavová from Italier
For the past three years, design firm Italier has been lighting its clients' interiors exclusively with crystal chandeliers from ArtCrystal. "I especially appreciate the company's pro-customer approach. They select customized luminaires, ensure trouble-free installation, and answer all the customer's questions," says Lucie Votavová, managing director of Italier. The cooperation with ArtCrystal suits her so well that she is planning to open a joint showroom in Prague.
Italier focuses on furnishing interiors in the Italian style; it can make a family home or a private mansion more comfortable. "Thanks to our cooperation with ArtCrystal, we can furnish our customers' interiors, including lighting fixtures. We can fully rely on the supplier - if we refer our client directly to their sales representative, we know that they will take good care of them and the result will be of high quality. At the moment, we are therefore only taking all our lighting fixtures from ArtCrystal," confirms Votavová.
Italier is a Czech company that has been creating Italian-style interiors in the Czech Republic since 2015. It consists of a team of ten people and has an annual turnover of around CZK 22 million. It sells high-quality Italian design furniture and can design and realise a complete Italian-style interior on a turnkey basis.
Customized light fittings for a private mansion
Italier first joined forces with ArtCrystal in 2020 to furnish a private mansion in Pilsen. It was a large project for two years, during which ArtCrystal produced 30 chandeliers and 20 wall lights for the mansion. He adapted the fixtures to the height and size of the rooms and their style - for example, he made the chandeliers larger or added more bulbs as needed.
Vítězslav Tomeš, ArtCrystal's sales director, was in intensive contact with the owner of the chateau throughout the entire process. "I have been to the owner many times, we have consulted lighting options and together we have fine-tuned his ideas. And when he was not sure, he came to our showroom, where we have 250 chandeliers on display, and we fine-tuned his idea," says Tomeš.
Italier counts this mansion among his most successful projects. Based on the good experience, they started a long-term cooperation with ArtCrystal.

A villa full of unique chandeliers
The cooperation with ArtCrystal did not just stop at the chateau mansions. One of the big joint projects is a private villa with twenty rooms, which are completely furnished in different styles. ArtCrystal has again taken over everything related to the lighting fixtures. "It's one of the most challenging projects I've ever worked on," says Tomeš. "Italier gave me the contact and then I worked everything out with the client. I met with the owner in person many times, we went through all the rooms and discussed which fixtures would fit which room. Many of the fixtures were designed and made to the client's specifications. They are unique and you won't find them anywhere else in the world."
One such unique piece is a 150kg chandelier in the shape of two waves fitted with 2,500 crystal balls. The owner of the villa saw this luminaire on ArtCrystal's showroom, but wished to enlarge it to 2m x 1m. ArtCrystal calculated everything to make the chandelier work structurally, then fabricated and anchored it into the ceiling.

It doesn't end with realizations, we are opening a joint showroom
Italier also praises the speed, enthusiasm and service of his cooperation with ArtCrystal: "We consult with them - just send them an interior design and ArtCrystal will select the right collections of lighting fixtures to match the design of the room. They will calculate the appropriate luminosity and provide everything for a smooth installation. In case of any questions from the customer, they will always prepare an answer," says Votavová. "Clients are happy that we take care of their interior completely and save them time," says Votavová.
Italier has also found that their customers overlap with ArtCrystal's customers, meaning that those interested in elegant Italian furniture often request crystal chandeliers as well. "The typology and design of Artcrystal's lamps fits our concept, their chandeliers match our furniture perfectly," confirms Votavová.
For this reason, Italier has also started working with ArtCrystal beyond interior design. "We have a similar business strategy and have therefore embarked on new plans. For example, in September we are opening a showroom in Prague, which will include a sample room of ArtCrystal's lighting fixtures. ArtCrystal is also planning a small redesign of their store in Jablonec nad Nisou, which will be made more comfortable with our furniture," says Votavová.

She also adds that such cooperation would not be possible without mutual "chemistry". "We try to support each other and take advantage of the fact that we have the same customers. And it works great, we wouldn't change." Votavová describes.
